Avgoulea-Linardatou School
Avgoulea-Linardatou School was founded in 1949 by visionary teacher Stavroula Avgoulea-Linardatou, who dreamed of nurturing self-esteem and holistic growth through innovative pedagogy. She used to unfold this theory, that as plants grow, they don’t end up all the same. Some plants grow and become trees some grow and become shrubs. Both are absolutely necessary in life. The same stands true for people. Our school mission is to ensure that growing up you will become, so to speak, the finest trees, the finest shrubs and thus enhance human society, just as plants enhance nature. From a two-classroom start, the school now serves 1,508 students and employs 370 staff. Over its 76-year history, it has earned a reputation for educational innovation, integrating cutting-edge technology and embracing arts, sports, and culture. Committed to openness and community impact, the school shares its advancements with educators and local stakeholders. It welcomes students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds across nearly 40 municipalities in Western Attiki, offering a continuous learning journey from kindergarten to secondary school.
