Dr. Christine Avery joins Bellevue Children’s School as Head of School with 30 years of experience in education and a distinguished record of leadership, instructional excellence, and school improvement. Throughout her career, she has served as a teacher, principal, and district leader, leading initiatives that strengthened student achievement, developed exceptional educators, and fostered thriving school communities.

Most recently, Christine served as an Executive Director of Elementary Schools, supporting school leaders across multiple campuses and overseeing efforts to improve teaching and learning, organisational effectiveness, and student outcomes. She is widely recognised for her collaborative leadership style, commitment to academic excellence, and dedication to nurturing the whole child.

Christine is passionate about creating engaging learning environments where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
