Dr. Michael Arcidiacono brings nearly 30 years of experience in international education, having held leadership and teaching roles across the United States, Brazil, China, and Malaysia. Most recently, he served as Head of School at the American School of Campinas in Brazil, where he led the school through re-accreditation, pandemic recovery, and the successful integration of the IB Primary Years Programme. Michael began his career as a mathematics educator and holds a doctorate in educational leadership, along with a principal’s license from the state of Oregon. A passionate advocate for inquiry-based learning, he has worked in multiple IB continuum schools and is particularly focused on nurturing global citizenship through intentional curriculum design. He joins Lynn-Rose School alongside his wife Julie and their three children, bringing with them a rich blend of Taiwanese, Brazilian, and American heritage. Michael is excited to partner with the strong team already in place at Lynn-Rose and to continue advancing the school’s mission and commitment to IB education.
