Mosaic School / Ecole Mosaic

We are a bilingual and multicultural school for children aged 3 - 12 years. Since 2004, we have been delivering a unique programme in which all subjects are taught in both English and French. Beyond the simple benefits of language acquisition, this approach has many other advantages, particularly in relation to mathematics and relationships with others. We also develop ambitious and innovative learning projects designed to build skills that will serve our pupils throughout their lives. We want our students to become creative, resilient, self-assessing, collaborative, communicative and socio-emotional. Our educational project covers a wide variety of activities and opportunities for pupils to learn in their own way and at their own pace during school and after school. We are more than just a school. We are a multicultural and open international community working together to make the children responsible citizens of the future, who understand the world around them.

Jean-François Lopez

Head of School
Jean-François joined Mosaic in 2022, bringing with him a deep understanding of bilingualism, which enables the school to develop its pioneering educational programme. Originally from France, Jean-François holds a master's degree in educational science from the Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) and has over twenty years' experience in teaching. All throughout his professional life, he’s worked with young people and has taken part in initiatives that have helped disadvantaged youth thrive. Jean-François took up his first international position in 2007 as deputy principal and educational coordinator at the Franco-American school in Rhode Island, USA. Now at Mosaic, Jean-François passionately believes in the benefits of a bilingual education and lifelong learning. This means putting a special emphasis on creativity, resilience, self-evaluation and teamwork. As a former rugby player, Jean-François attends as many international matches as he can and is a massive supporter of the French national team. He is also a black belt in judo and regularly shares this passion with students at Mosaic.
