Ms. Lisa Passante
Lisa spent her childhood in the beautiful Welsh valleys before completing her education in the south west of England and finally the East Midlands. Lisa holds a BA in Media Arts and English as well as a MSc in Educational Leadership, PGCE and NPQH. From a young age it was always her dream to become a teacher and Lisa began her teaching career in 2000 in Lincolnshire. In 2006, Lisa joined Nord Anglia Education and for the next eleven years was based in both Shanghai and Beijing, undertaking senior leadership roles including Head of Primary and Principal. Lisa also spent time in Hong Kong where she was Principal of Mount Kelly School. In 2019, Lisa relocated to the Middle East as Principal of Al Shohub Private School in Abu Dhabi. More recently, Lisa has been Vice Principal at Kings’ School Al Barsha.
Since 2017, Lisa has been a Lead Improvement Partner with the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), supporting British international schools worldwide in achieving the COBIS Patron’s Accreditation and Compliance. Lisa is also a facilitator of the NPQSL and NPQH through Infinite learning, working with leaders from across the Middle East and beyond. These two roles enable Lisa to fulfill her passion for developing others, whether it be supporting schools on their improvement journey or aspiring leaders on their chosen career path; the outcome of which is to ensure students of all ages have access to an outstanding education.
Lisa enjoys running and has completed the Beijing Great Wall Marathon on two occasions. Whilst she still enjoys participating in races around Dubai, Lisa tends to stick to shorter distances these days.
