The Indian Public School, Salem

The Indian Public School, Salem began its journey in June 2013 with just 21 students in a serene campus surrounded by lush bamboo groves.
Today we have two campuses- Our kindergarten city campus and a main campus situated 10 kms away from the City of Salem, with the lush Yercaud hills as the backdrop.

TIPS Salem is a student-centered institution that fosters an active and engaging environment with well-designed facilities and infrastructure. We offer a diverse curriculum: Kindergarten for early years, the IB PYP for primary years, and both CBSE and Cambridge programmes in secondary education. As part of our curriculum, we offer dramatics, media, visual arts, performing arts, design thinking & technology education, robotics, carpentry, and sports—including swimming, basketball, soccer, badminton, and athletics.

Our school is surrounded by a community engaged in small-scale industries and horticulture. The student body primarily comprises children of professionals, including medical practitioners, engineers, and business leaders. While our students come from Indian and NRI backgrounds, their linguistic diversity includes Tamil and Hindi.

Guided by our motto—Extraordinary Education, Exposure, and Experience—we are committed to preparing our students to navigate an unknown yet exciting future in their own unique ways.
